99 740i front cup holder
My front cup holder is broken and it stays out all the time. I have read (on this forum) that the cup holders are very unstable and break alot.
Instead of replacing the cup holder which could cost several hundred dollars, does anyone know how I can get it to stay closed? I'm ok not using it in the future because its not very good. I've tried to close it and wedge some tape on the sides to hold it shut but it will eventually come open again. Any suggestions? Thanks... |

Re: 99 740i front cup holder
Check out E38.org for some links on cupholders. For a new cupholder, supposedly cupholders.com has a few ones which work well with the 99+740s. E38.org should have install instructions for a new one if you want to DIY.
