i would start with cleaning the IAC. it screws into the throttle body and has a 4 wire connector

Re: car stalling

manual or automatic???

but i also agree that it sounds like the IAC or.. the ICM. My IROC was doing the same thing, i spent easily a week chasing my tail trying to figure out what the problem was, finally narrowed it down to one of three things, the ICM was one of em, swapped it with the ICM from my RS, and the problem went away. its cheap, less than 50 bucks and easy to do. i would reccomend doing that first.

Re: car stalling

IAC is the Idle Air Control Valve, its located in the throttle body, its a hex head 1-1/4in across, with a four pin electrical connector sticking out of it.

ICM is Ignition Control Module, it is a small electronic control module located under the rotor of the distributor. to get to it, take the distributor cap off, and undo the two screws holding the module in place, it will have three electrical connectors plugged into it, youll have to take them off. put the new one in, after using some di-electric grease on the metal contact, screw it down, plug it in, and put the distributor back together, and start the car up.
