Crank Gear Removal

Anyone have any tips on how to remove the bottom timing belt gear from the crank on an 87 2.0 Si Prelude? I have removed the belt, pulley, and cover, but I can't get the gear off so I can replace the front main seal. I tried to pry it off with a couple of screw drivers, but would not budge.
