Going out Nightrider...

Well, looks like my rustic Laser is about to hit the paint shop. Since its an N/A engine, i think ill go more for looks than go. So my idea was to paint the red beast black, then powder coat my wheels black with limo tint(darkest legal in texas).

My question is this...has anyone ever seen a picture of one with everything like this?

No, but it sounds cool enough. You can't really go wrong with black, just be careful how you clean it. It's different and harder than any other color to clean.

I want to paint mine black, too. All of my vehicles have been black, (untill my clips) and green's not me. Then I'll add a set of the hyper black wheels with the deep dish polished silver lip. *dreaming*

seems like an awful lot of black... i dont know i like see 'accents' on cars, like chrome or something, ya know? i think maybe the wheels would be too much, i just saw a laser the other day all BLUE, even windows, and it wasnt cute.

Have you seen the hyper black wheels? They're not flat black. It's a shiny black, and if you can get that shiny polished lip. C'mon u gotta like it. But everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

theres a all red eclipse rd ridein around my town all red window tent rims interior everything got air bags on it........

no motor upgrades tho not even a intake i pulled him over and ask how much he had in it he said about 12 grand i said what about the motor he said just got everything polished....it looked nice but why wast that much money on a car for looks when u could put it in the motor and blow away most cars around here

but thats the thing DSMs are bad as hell anyway why change the body style of something that already looks good...

Only God knows... It was a sad day they stopped making 2gs. I think they tried to make the concept version look more like the 2gs... They look like 2gs that are stackin' steroids and spend 10 hours at the gym everyday.

Check the specs on the 04 concept car. Standard 3.8 L V6 RWD, but they say its AWD because of the main engine in the front and the separate one in the back make power for all wheels. They also say it has 470hp. 270hp front motor and 200hp on the E-boost electric motor on the back.

Definately... I don't know what they were thinking. They took two generations of models (with turbo charging capabilities and AWD capabilities) and pretty much gave us all (1gs and 2gs) a slap in the face bringing out the 3gs. They even put a V6 out which is just wrong. That shit isn't anywhere near as fast as the GST or GSX and its a V6. Its really sad. I'm pretty pissed that they even tried to pass that as an eclipse (affordable, 4cld., possible turbo, possible AWD) just nice cars. The new ones are nice (Concept E) I'm not sure it could take a 2g gst though. I read up on it and that car is sooooo heavy. I would try it for fun, but with 470hp I'm sure I'd get my ass beat. I want one, but I'm loyal to my 2g. I still have faith in it. But I know one day soon some ass---- is going to pull up on me with the 4g and I'm going to feel so small I should feel like I'm in the smallest cardboard box you can find. I've though about trading my car in for the 4g concept e, but I love my car too much. Everyone has such good things to say about it (4g), but I know there has to be some downsides to it too, such as the weight ratio. It's really heavy. I forget what I saw (I'm F'd up) but I thought I saw like 3,800lbs) that's a lot! You go around for so long with a 2g gst and beat every new eclipse that has come out, and then the 4g concept e eclipse comes out and whips my ass, I don't know what I'm going to do. The style of the body is nice (looks too much like the 350Z... I see the shit every day. I work at nissan.) I definately appreciate the fact that Mitsubishi tried to make it more like the 2g, but they made it heavier with more computer parts that cost a lot more $. I think we should start a petition and send it to Mitsubishi America saying we want the 2g back. Even the 1g is bad ass, it just doesn't have the looks of the 2g. (sorry if I offend anyone... I"m f'ed up.) They should have never changed they body. Just like the 350Z, I see that shit every day, and I get mad cause the 300 zx came in twin turbo... what more could you ask for. It was fine the way it was... in addition... the SUPRA... ok, that is a car that turns me on. My boy eddy has one... Twin turbo.. The whole get down... He let me drive it one the highway one time... I got to like 130 and I looked at him to see if it was ok to push it more... He told me to go. So I went to 160. It was the best thing ever. Do they make them any more? No. The domestic market is domanating with the SRT-4 and so on. Even the Mitsu. Evo. (I think... Wait I can't think.. I'm F'ed) OK so its not so much the domestic market, cause you have the WRX and so on. I just don't think I can take having a car that beat pretty much everything (within the same realm) to being beat by the concept e eclipse. Sorry if I'm rambling. . . Like I said in my last post... I'm F'ed up . . . I need to go to bed... So that's what I"ll do. Dammit.. I probably won't even remember to check the website till Monday when I return to work... Oh well. I think that the Concept E looks like a 2g, a 3g, and a jetson's car had an orgy and this is what came of it, but it does look alright. hahaha
