Gears

I was wanting to change the gears in my differential, and I was wondering how hard this is to do, and what kind of gears do you guys think i should put in there to pull some 35 inch tires?

Re: Gears

if you have 4wd you have to change front and back differentials ->it's a bloody mess and it's not worth it

if you don't have 4x4 there's almost no reason to put 35's on there anyways

Gear ratios: (look for code in glove box) GU4 IS 3.08 .... GU6 IS 3.42 .... GT4 IS 3.73 AND GT5 IS 4.10 in 81-04 factory difs. A G80 before those codes means it's POSI

Re: Gears

What he said.

If it is a 4x4, don't mess with it.
