99 Tahoe steering seems to flop over
77,000 miles currently on truck - start noticing last 10,000 miles that when you turn the steering wheel the front wheels feel like they move or flop a small amount - check steering box and the attached seems to have play in the arm attachment - looks like it is impossible to get out without moving alot of other items - any suggestion and easy way to fix?

Its proly in your ball joints and the steerin joint(forgot the actual name) mines is doin the same thing, its like wanderin. But yups if its your ball joints it goin to be a bitch. The bottom ones got to be pressed in n dependin on what type ur top one is has it might be the press on type or the riveted type. But either way you got 2 take prety much all the front suspension pieces off.

Re: 99 Tahoe steering seems to flop over
What's the correct name for the EVO? What's the part number? Does anyone other than the dealer carry it? What's the correct term for it on GMPartsDirect?
