quick question about engines

hey all, i was just wondering if the '93+ supras use the same base engine for the TT and the N/A models? im talking about same internals, intake manifolds, etc. if anyone has any info plz post!

the internals are different, low compression pistons, etc. The blocks are the same though. The maifolds are different as well. If you were to convert it to a TT car you would need turbos and manifold as well as a tougher tranny to go past 8-10 psi. Good luck.

i dont have one yet i was just curious about em and still looking around for my next car. unfortunately i cant quite afford a supra TT so i was hoping to get the NA model and sticka turbo on there. so from what i gather from your reply flyinmkIV the tranny is different too? is it still as good for that engine as the one is for the TT? ive heard the TT auto tranny is insanely good as far as automatic transmissions go.
