ranger 2.9 to 2.8
I am wondering if anyone knows if a older 2.8 litre will mount to and 89 ranger with a bad 2.9 litre.

EFI to Carb? Yuck. What's wrong with the 2.9? You might have greater success fixing the 2.9, rather than trying to retro fit a nasty running carbed 2.8 in there. Haha, sorry, I was never a big fan of carbs. Yes they're cheap and easy to work on, but they just run so damn dirty.
