New to this forum

Hello everyone I am new to this forum! I bought a pearl white '99 3000gt SL about a month ago, now I'm starting to get into modding it a lil. It's not a turbo, god knows I'd kill myself with that speed addiction... So it's probably better for me in the long run. Plus I'm only 18, and insurance would murder me. Ok--here's what I want to know....

I have taking a liking to the euro style for taillights. But I have looked all over the internet and have found that they are simply not made for the 3000GTs. Some others I've talked to said that doing something like that would make my car look too "ricy", and that I should keep my car as stock looking as possible. So, I'm looking for people's opinions about this same issue, and the one's who think it would look good (if any) have any suggestions on how to get the taillights for my car. Thanks!

Re: New to this forum

Welcome to AF! im positive no1 makes euros for these cars. the closest thing to it would be painting it in a way so that it looks silver but but leaving red so it glows when the brakes are hit.

Re: New to this forum

Welcome to AF.

I'm only 15 and i have a VR-4. Your 18 and you say your insurance would be high on a vr-4 at 18? Try 15 lol.

Hotshot said it best "yea, euros on 3/S = gay". The reason why i say this is becuase i have seen it before. They dont make them but someone custom made some for a 3kgt show car. Its white...and its looks like crap. I saw the pic on here...i'll try finding the thread and post it on here.

Welcome aboard. Like most boards you get peoples stong opinions in a hurry However, you picked a beautiful car and she's yours to do as you see fit.

I also commend you on recognizing your current limitations when it comes to speed. I'm sure that a few years from now, you'll feel the need for more.

Re: New to this forum

I think the closest thing you're gonna get to a nice looking tailight for a 3000GT are the one's of the JDM GTO (I think that's the model), those are nice :-D

I actually thought those Euros on that 3/S didn't look too bad, but then again, I don't own one. You lucky bastards!
