questions - grille delete, cold air, performance

i recently had a post about my 2nd gear grinding into gear. and turns out it was a synchro and it was covered under warranty. Yay. so now that everythings all fine I have $115 extra dollars to spend on the car. Since...that can't really get any performance mods I was going to get a Mach 1 grille delete kit and just save the rest until I get enough for a cold air kit. So..this is kind of three questions. Anyone know any performance mods I overlooked that are around that much money? Or does anyone know anything about the Mach 1 grille delete kit? and when I do get the money...which cold air kit does anyone suggest? Oh yeah...it's a silver 2002 GT. Thanks

the grill delete is $50. I clearly said "I was going to get a Mach 1 grille delete kit and just save the rest until I get enough for a cold air kit." but...if you know where I can get a CAI for $115, link me to it.

You should save the $115 until you have a good amount of money, then start looking around for what you want. It's better saving then spending a little here and a little there, you'll be more pleased with the result.

Cold air kits are dirt cheap on ebay. Just talk to the seller and make sure that it fits properly because they do make mistakes.

That may be true...but I prefer buying real brands from reputable stores. Perhaps if I were buying an intake for a geo metro...I wouldn't be so picky. but yeah. I decided I'm just going to save it up and then buy full exhaust.

i purchased my CAI off ebay and i cant tell one bit of difference between it and say a BBK. i paid 52.00. It came with everything i needed and install no problem . Its not a "K&N" filter but it is the same reusable stlye . and if you wanted to you could get a filter separatly for it and still spend less money. i wouldnt knock the stuff on ebay til ya tried it. you'd be surprised . not trying to promote ebay just trying to save you alot of money
