2000 laredo fan clutch problem and heatd seats

I have a 2000 grand cherokee laredo v8 4wd that needs a fan clutch. I replaced it with a used fan clutch and it only lasted 1 week before also going bad. I was told I have to order one from the factory at over $200. Does anyone have any other solutions?? Also, both of my heated seats no longer work. I was also told that I would need to replace the entire leather seats at over $365 each to fix the problem. Is there some type of fuse or something I could check to fix them without spending $700??

Re: 2000 laredo fan clutch problem and heatd seats

Take it to the dealer for the seat heaters they can replace just the heater, had to have that done in mine already and its a 99 LTD not sure about the clutch fan but it might be able to be ordered thorugh Autozone or someplace like that.
good luck
