Engine won't turnover at all???kinda

I have 95' blazer....110,000 miles approx.

In the last month.....3 times now....I go out to start and the engine doesn't even turn over....so I turn the key to the run position and no lights or anything comes on......so I've found depressing the brake pedal a couple times while the key is in the cranking postion....all of a sudden it turns over and starts....my clock on the radio has the time reset

so I took it to a mechanic....very reliable one....they looked over it for 4 hours while I waited.....couldn't find a darn thing

I'm not sure to assume if it's a loose connectio somewhere?? ....moisture causing something to go wrong( 2 times it has rained during the night this happened)is it a fuse thing???.....

Also, anyone got any ideas to fix them pins and bushings on the driver door....had them replaced once....and it's gettin to the point it needs it again....

Lastly, past couple of winters when it gets cold out that the engine doesn't crank like it used to.....any ideas on how to restore that???

sorry for all the questions at one time.....first post here

Do a quick search to read up on threads about hard starting, ignition switches and alternators/battery. You will find a wealth of information there with recent discoveries by your fellow forum users.
