4th Gen GTS Track Action Pics

This was taken at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit near Tulsa. Ran in the rain. It was a blast. Car has custom intake, Whiteline swaybars and bushings, 17 inch wheels with 205/40ZR17 BF Goodrich GSport tires, custom straight exhaust, no muffer or converter, Koni Yellow adjustables struts in the front, KYB GR2 rear, more agressive camber settings. The car was very tricky to drive especially through the esses because the rear swaybar was way too stiff for the rain. But it was fun nonetheless.
Here are the pics.

4th gens are the shit I miss mine!! Your car looks very clean but is it just me or do those chrome like corner pieces around the windshield stand out??

I dont know if the cars came like that but I repainted all my trim black and I thought it looked much nicer.

Thanks for the pics that looks fun as hell!

There is a track in Virginia. It's called VIR. Down near Danville.

BTW, the chrome is because the black has worn off. It sucks but I'm too lazy to repaint it. It doesn't bother me that much. I spend all my time working with the suspension

Tight stuff. Thanks for the pics, it's always great to see pics of your stuff rather than having people just talk away what they "say" they did. Nice 4th gen, repainting the trim doesn't take too long. I did some repainting on my 3rd gen, even the windshild wipers (they turned orange from rusting ). And paint only cost about $5-8 just get the correct type ie., ones that bond to metal or for whatever surface you are painting.

How much did it cost to go on the track? I want to take mine to the track too, but i heard it cost something like $100 around here, not sure just what i heard and I haven't checked up on it.

Re: 4th Gen GTS Track Action Pics

apparently VIR would cost 200 dollars for an open practice(more money than I can spend at this point), and my car would have to be race ready....

but I'm probably 4 years away from race ready, as I still have to use it to drive to work/school/around.

oh well, my 3rd gen will have it's day... eventually.

I actually want to get a bunch of people who have street legal 80s 4-cyl imports together as kind of an amature racing league... but that's even further down the road than having the '84 being race ready.
