What year Xterra
Ok guys, I have finally decided to get an Xterra. Which year is the best. I heard the 2002 has had more problems with them, plus i dont like the headlights. But I have also heard the tales of elecrical issues in the first years. I am perplexed as to which year to get, any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you have the money and don't need it right away, go ahead and wait for the 2005 to come out. I think it's projected for late this year or early next.
But otherwise.....IMHO the 99-01 models are the best!(square headlights)   Not only do they look better, there are certain things on those years that make them better....I read a thread about it a while ago so I don't remember exactly what was stated. But a search is always an easy way to find things......

Square headlight models - less mechanical problems, have Durasteel body panels (less rust).
Electrical problems?
