99 SE - deceleration bucking problem??
Hello!! The car is a 99 Taurus SE with the 3.0 VIN S engine. At times, when I am decelerating (in town or on highway), the tach will jump up (sometimes to 3000rpm), and I can feel movement in the gas pedal. If it is a bad one, the car will hardly slow down with both feet on the brakes!! Had the throttle body, injectors, and mass airflow sensor cleaned, fuel filter replaced, and computer scanned (no codes). The check engine light flickers when the engine bucks. It is sporadic AND frustrating - any ideas?? Thanks in advance!!
