Progress: Ferrari ENZO!!! :D

Im back with a new model. a enzo as you might have noticed
First impression when i opened the box was "DETAIL and that makes me glad since the RX8 didnt have any detail at all almost.

The plans for this one is a purple paintjob and the rest pretty much out of the box.
pic of the front end

im pretty convinced that the enzo came with a booklet about wich CF decal would go where. if it is like so, can anyone post a pic of it or email me a pic, i woul appreciate it a lot.

now im off to paint the rest of the body
wish me luck

Nice start, think the paint choice was a good one, think also that it will be the first purple Enzo here.

Later, Mike

Re: Progress: Ferrari ENZO!!! :D

Hey Zlatan!
I'm in the process of polishing my Enzo out and then it's just about final assembly left. Purple is a cool colour, mine was supposed to be black but it was one of the empty slots at the hobbyshop. So now it's painted metallic black instead. Take your time with this one. I can't think of any particular problem areas, usual Tamiya quality taken at bit further. When you paint the body colour, take care reading the instructions as there is a lot of parts with body colour and black/CF areas as well.

Good luck!
Niclas

Now you have to come up with an interesting color scheme for the interior.

Maybe a yellow interior, it'll look like a coffee machine There is a Swedish coffee brand that is purple and yellow...Löfbergs lila (lila=purple) Seriously it would look nice with yellow accents on the interior, I think it's hard to match purple with anything but white, black and yellow.
But I've been wrong before so why alter a winning concept

Well modellex is the only model shop in Örebro, why dont you check it out. I know he doesnt stock any tamiya stuff but he's loads of other paint brands. If you have an airbrush then Tamiya XF 55 (deck tan) is the one i sometimes use for this job, puma hobby have a decent range. http://www.pumahobby.se/FARG.htm#q2
