The new CD is out today, and i just went and got mine, its a very good CD. A lot more emo then The Satelite Years was, but still good.

It also comes witha TrustKill samplers which has It Dies Today, 18 Vissions, and a few other bands on it.

THe CD(s) are definately worth the $12 i paid for it.

i'll have to look into getting this one...i still might buy the Satelite Years too but it's like $25...

can you recommend one or 2 songs that i can download off the new album to get a feel for it?

THe two songs on the TrustKill E card for the CD are a good representation of the CD.

Listened to it. It was good, but I think their other stuff is better. I think they changed too much this album.

Well, been listening to the album a lot. I love it. It's excellent.

im very disapointed in the new album.

all bands change their sound from time to time, and i would expect them to. but this borders on selling out.

as stupid as it sounds, when i buy a hardcore bands cd, i expect some screaming, and some fast paced songs. im 4 tracks in and ive gotten one intro with some screaming, and all four songs have been the exact same very tame tempo (give or take a few beats per minute)

edit: yup, its official. a substandard album from an otherwise amazing band. i think i'll stick to the satellite years and pretend a types never came out.

I was EXTREMLY dissapointed when Senses fail had a new CD out. I had the From the Depth of Dreams EP and it was really good. Then out came that their new CD and every song sounded the same and you could tell their on Drive Thru Records along with all that other poppy crap.

Hopesfall has gone way down hill. Even Satelite Years was a big change from their previous two albums. They used to be so good too. I guess alot of bands are that way when they first start.
