Euro conversion

I was looking around and couldn't find any information on euro conversions for an 88 civic, I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for a sleek bodykit that has a auro style for my civic hatch, other body mods, etc. Maybe some z3 fenders?? I dunno.

Re: Euro conversion

Z3 fenders wouldn't look very euro IMO. Do custom side marker (fender) lights that blink when you use your turn signal... only requires you to drill a couple of holes. You could smoke out your rear tails and get clear corners up front. Note: Altezzas are not euro (they came stock on the JDM Toyota/Lexus Altezza). If you wanted to do subtle differences to make your car look like a stock euro hatch you could manipulate your moldings, etc. Check out Civic Jim's car.

Yeah..the Z3 might look dumb.. What do you mean by manipulate my moldings? Like in what ways? Sorry for all the questions..im completely new to this.

I hadn't thought of that! That's an awesome idea! Doesn't sound too complicated. Would look very cool. How would I smoke the tails? Is there a section here with just FAQ's or how to's?

Re: Euro conversion

The moldings on Civic Jim's car are a little different. He pointed it out one day. It's got like an indentation and red pinstripe. Some USDM hatches have the indentation but not the pinstripe. I don't know. I've seen the smoked tails but not sure how it's done. I'm sure I've read about it somewhere. Try searching for stuff like "tail lights" "blacked out tails" "smoked tails" etc. I personally like my stock CRX tails.
