Summer Jobs

Has anyone worked at a car dealership for a summer job (washing cars, or something small but cool like that)? If so tell me how you liked it. I think I might be washing cars and whatnot at a porsche dealer this summer.

thx

I did a few years ago and loved it. You got to take all the cars for a drive to the panel shops etc.
Did get a little boring just cleaning and being "just the boy" but you get to see what cars you like and dont like when driving.

just for the record,
I would do anything for a Porsche dealer if I got to drive them back and forth. ....well, almost anything. (this is a forum filled with car guys)

YEAH... it would be the best place.
You may find it hard to get to drive one though

I just finished working at the local Ford dealer for co-op ed in school. It was pretty fun. First I worked as a mechanic, then out in customer service, then parts, and finally the body shop. It was boring some days, but usually pretty good. I only got to drive once, and it was only an F150. However, I went for a ride in several cars (mostly road tests) such as: Harley-Davidson F-150, SVT Contour, and countless other humdrum cars and trucks.

I'm going to take Automotive Marketing at college this next school year. It's also a co-op program, I take schooling for 2 semesters, then work for 1 semester, making money for my next schooling semesters. I'm planning on going to get a job at a Ferrari dealer for the co-op term, it should be fun.

I'm hoping to get a job either at the BMW or Mercedes dealerships around here. I'm going to sweep thier floors according to my dad. I'm hoping for something a bit better than that. No Mcdonald's for me!
