Angry 1973 Sb engine wiring

Okay heres the deal.. It's been 4 years of welding, sanding, replacing and bleeding, but the old girl is finally ready to go. BUT i can seem to get the wiring in the engine right. I believe i have the wires going to the coil and dist right, but i can't seem to understand the 1973 wiring diagrams (Both the VW shop manual and Haynes)

The wires under the rear seat are correct, the main red wire off the battery is hooked up to the starter... Battery is good, wiring under the dash is good..Engine/tranny ground is good..

i guess i need someone who knows where the wires that come through the back right hand side engine bay connect to so i can trouble shoot them. Plus i seem to be missing a wire for the Choke ?

I'm not a smart man when it comes to wiring.. Help!

thanks

Re: 1973 Sb engine wiring

try this
BLUE/WHITE ---small connection to alternator
RED/WHITE ---large connection to alternator
BLACK ----------- + live to coil
GREEN/RED------oil pressure switch

take choke feed from + side of coil

the other wires are only for vw to test from
hence not needed

hope this helps
