Is it ok to put a cd player in my 95 4Runner?

I currently have the stock tape player/radio in my 95 4Runner, and I was told that it would mess up electrical stuff if I put a regular in dash cd player in it. This is probably bull crap, but I just want to make sure it is fine before I install one. Thanks

Re: Cd player in 95 4Runner?

Thats totally untrue. Just hook it up CORRECTLY, or electrical problems will occur.

Re: Cd player in 95 4Runner?

Thanks for the advice guys. I figured it would be okay, I was just double checking because I don't know much about the electrical stuff in 4Runners because I just got it. I'll make sure it gets done right.
