h22a internals

this is my first post in the lude forum and i was wondering how strong the internals are in the h22a motor seeing as how i have a 93 accord and am going to do the swap. i plan on turboing is down the road and i was wondering how strong the internals are because otherwise i will just put forged stuff in right away and not even bother boosting on stock internals. this info would be great

Re: h22a internals

I think I'd recommend upgrading to forged stuff right away. On stock internals, the general consensus is 7psi is max, 8psi is pushing it, and AcesHigh says 6psi is best for everyday driving. So depends on how much you plan on boosting it.
