Tailgate

I bought a 1988 Blazer the window will open but the latch for the tailgate just spins how can I get it open to fix or replace.

opps sorry its a S 10 Blazer

You will have to remove the inner plastic portion to gain access.

I would pick up a repair manual to hlpe you with it.
