No Power to 91 silverado fuel pump

I replaced the fuel pump about a year ago... so it should be ok. I lent the truck to my brother.. my first mistake... it cranked but would not start. He did get it started evetually... and it started once for me.

1. there is no sound coming from the gas tank with the ignition on.
2. with ignition on , no power getting back to fuel pump.. tested with test light.. on all wires going into it.
3. with ignition on no, power going to to fuel pump fuse on firewall
4. replaced fuel pump relay
5. replaced oil pressure sensor
6. "hot at all times" is hot in relay
7. Ran jumper from positive on batter to "G" on the Assembly Data link (ALDL) .. with no sound from the fuel pump.

My first thought was that the pump went again.. I wanted to make sure cause dropping that tank is real pain in the rear. Could it be the Powertrain control module? i see that the relay runs back to there?
Any help would be much appreciated..

The wireing is known to go bad a the fuel pump connecter. Make sure that there is not just a bad connector

Yes
Most times there is power back there but at the connector (the plastic part) there is rust or some crud built up that is stoping the good connection.
I would use a test light to back sure that there is or is not power there . Back probe the wires untill you find power. Or use a dvom meter set to ohms to see if there is a eire problem
