1990 Current Status
Hey folks,
It is very good to see most here love their Luminas... it makes great reading when you get sincere advice. Only wanted to 'show off' in this post regarding my baby!! Stats. 1990 3.1 Lumina - made in Windsor On. in March Currently: 210,000m 350,000Km Previous Owner: RCMP (Canadian FBI) Rust: Everywhere Replaced/Fixed: Belt Alt. Steering Pump Water Pump Gas Pump Bearings (everywhere) Struts Brakes (many times) Gaskets Muffler All oil leaks gone CV boots Sensors (everywhere) Notice how my tranny wasn't even mentioned!!!! This has got to be one THE cheapest and easiest cars to work on!!! And yes... it does still run with no oil on the stick!

I get a kick out of people that would bitch about changing the number parts you have, but forget they have a bazillion miles on their car. I'd agree with you that your car has been pretty dependable, drive her into the ground.
