winter tires
live in the pittsburgh area and its getting close to winter time. anyone recomend a winter tire. would it hurt to get 225-60-16 size winter tires for front of car seem to be more of a selection.

www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html is an online tire size calculator,you will see there isnt alot of difference between 225s and 235s except price and availability ... i have a complete set of 225 winters and the car handles great in snow and on pavement,not nearly as noisy as i would expect with that aggressive tread

215/65/16 will also do. Narrower tire ensures more pressure on the snow and ice per corner
