GEE!! Another Chrysler Minivan Recall

Leave it to Chrysler to have another recall.
"Chrysler recalling 251,100 minivans and sedans

DETROIT (AP) _ Chrysler is recalling 240-thousand minivans because their radios may short circuit and cause a fire.

Affected are Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town and Country minivans from the 2001 and 2002 model years.

The automaker says the short circuit may result from water seeping into the radio. Chrysler says the defect is most likely in vehicles driven in hot, humid areas.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began investigating the defect in July after receiving reports of three fires and one injury.

Chrysler is also recalling more than eleven-thousand Sebring and Dodge Stratus sedans from the 2005 model year. An internal audit revealed improper installation of bolts in some rear seat belt retractors.

Chrysler will perform repairs for free in both cases
