Post Hyundai died

My sister was coming home from work when her 1994 elantra stalled and would not start. I towed it home pulled a spark plug and there was no spark(it cranks). I then removed the timing belt cover and everything was intact. If anyone can point me in the right direction on what the possible cause is it would be great. Thanks

Re: Hyundai died

Well, if there's no spark, I guess technically there are a lot of places you can go. I'm not that familiar with an Elantra that old but if it's powered by a cap and rotor or a simple spark control unit, i'd look at that first.
