Driver Side Window Replacement Tips

Anyone have any tips on replacing the driver side window....car got broken into on halloween.

there is a little u-clip holding the handle in place.. that needs to come off before the handle can be removed.. use a rag or get a tool... look around the entire door pannel and remove the screws... if i remember right there are 2-3 on bottom and 2 in the hand holder... then from the bottom pop it up and off.... there will be a plastic weather membrane inside that...peel it off and don't ruin it since you will need it again... i dunno what it totally broken here.. but look for a retaining clip and remove it from holding the window in place.... remove all the old broken glass and incert new window and clip(s) then put it all back together... i would think your insurance would cover it...

insuranace had a $250 deductable for it...i got a replacement window for 60 bucks...Thanks for the tips
