1997 Chevy Cavailer 2.4 Supercharge?

I am looking for a 97 and up Z24 5 speed white with a sunroof. I wanted to know if I should supercharge the car once I get it and what I need to do to the internals to make it supercharger reliable. I want it to have over 210 hp and pass smog (smog not that important though). I was going to put a exedy stage 1 clutch in right away.

That sounds pretty nice, now have you ever ran it in the 1/4 mile?
If so what did you run?

Re: 1997 Chevy Cavailer 2.4 Supercharge?

well ive heard of the GM charger working as far back as the 98 model line. And that requires a few extra mods. If you want 210HP your gonna want the Vortec Supercharger. Its not cheap though, almost 4 G's. But it will make alot more power than the GM one. I also have a supercharged 2001 Z24 automatic. . .mmm its so nice.
