anyone bought rip mod super charger yet?

I was just wondering if anyone has bought the super charger stage 1 for the Eclipse GT yet. They have a couple different ones on Rippmod.com. I was thinking about getting one in the spring with some headers. However I would feel better if I got some feedback from someone that has it on their car already. So if you bought one and have it on your car, let me know how it is going or any problems that you might have. Thanks

i raced a red gt with the supercharger the other day, and it kicked my ass!!!!!! they also sound sick! damn kid driving it barely spoke english. some asian kid. damn that pisses me off!!! oh well, just wait till i win the lotto then i will have the sickest eclipse ever!!!! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

So skunk you dont' like the supercharger? You said that you are going turbo next?

dude...i wouldn't mind either one...but from what people have said...the turbo won't be kicking in all the time...starts to only really boost at a certain RPM...while a supercharger is always trying to build up to max boost...because it uses a belt...or something like that...and yeah dude...probably in the next six months though...or even later...hehehe...

oh yeah...i forgot to add...you can still get a decent gas milelage from a turbo...or at least thats what they said...

I've heard the super chargers don't really kick in until around 3000?

the Ripp supercharger does not make max boost until redline, whereas the properly sized turbo makes max boost around 2500-2900rpm.

the turbo is better boost wise, b/c it reaches max boost earlier
