89 Max vs 98ish Neon

ok, it was about 10:00 last night and I had just dropped of my friend at her house and was headin home...a nice 20 minute drive up Rt. 1. I stopped at McDonalds real quick, then got onto the road and made a quick U-turn, ahead of me was a neon. The neon made the U-turn and so did I, and I floored it after goin straight again so not to spin the tires, and apparently so did the Neon. I shifted into second and the Neon let off, and I start to pass and look over...and see a girl drivin. I shifted into fourth and drove normally, skippin third, cuz I wasn't expecting her to do anything. I hear her floor it, so I drop it down into second and take off, stoppin her gain on me. She falls in behind me since there is a car comin up infront of her, and I keep it in second for a lil while so she can hear the exhaust (hahaha).

I then shift to fourth and start drivin normally again. I get over to the next lane and she decides to try to fly by me again, but there is a car infront of her AGAIN, so I just keep drivin normally, speedin up a lil, so she has to fall in behind me, yet again. She gets back over after passin this other car, then drives in my blind spot for a lil while. Every so often, I would give it some gas and pick up a few mph, and so would she. She waits until there are like no other cars around and floors it again, I wait until she gets to my driver door then downshift to second and take off. She gets up to a nose ahead of me, I shift to third, and pass her again. My turn's comin up, so I get infront of her and into the turn lane to get onto Rt. 1.

I kno, I kno...its just a Neon...but I had fun she was kinda cute, too...lol

My parents had an '89 Maxima auto, and I came out behind it (my dad driving) in their 2k Max, and it took me a bit to catch it. They are quick cars. Gotta love racing cute girls.

Some people will go to any length to try, and race. I just ignore them because they'll probably end up killing themselves if they can't realize that it's not safe in the first place. Unless it's a girl then just do what lotus said.
