will this transmission fit?

Hello,
I have a '94 prizm 1.8L 4sp automatic. A transmission bearing went bad so I am replacing the transmission with a salvaged one. I bought a '96 4sp auto from a Prizm in a salvage yard. Does anyone know if this will work in my '94?

tranny should fit, seeing that 94 and 96 prizms are the same basically...also check on same model year corollas, might be cheaper

it should fit fine, make sure you drain the tranny fluid and replace the filter before running it, make sure the you have the tork converter that is for the tranny you are putting in, they are balance and matched for each tranny
