...Make sure you check out the movies at the end of the album.

By the way, does anyone have any pics from the photoshoot of that du Pont Registry cover?

Cool - thanks for sharing those. I managed to find some ad copy in reference to "Exotics on Display by the Dupont Registry" from the St Petersburg Times. Here's the part about the F1:

Quote:
McLaren F1: Introduced in 1993, and selling for $3 million, the McLaren F1 is the world's fastest and most expensive car. Designed as a Formula 1 racecar, the car incorporates many world firsts for a road car: a fully carbon-fiber structure, fully active fan-assisted ground-effect aerodynamics and a central driving position with two offset rear passenger seats. The car on display is one of only two like it in the world.
Seems like their price figure is just a little bit high. Didn't the car sell for about half that price at the Christie's Auction?

As for the Dupont Registry, it looks to be an old issue - that looks very similar to the photo of Gerd Petriks F1 on the cover.

I hope, in the great name of Gordon Murray, that the author of that copy lost their job over that butchery. Ok, maybe that's a bit too harsh but what imbecile wrote that?
