trying to get silvia s15 legalized in usa

im 14 and me and 2 friends were think in 3 years would try to find people and try to make a small buisness and have normal jobs and also try to buy some silvias cheap like ones that were salvaged or somthing and do some research and crash them and try to convince the gov't that the silvia is safe and also try to make parts like computers and make The Us Required Closed Box from a 3-sided Bars All The Glass Would Need To Be Changed To Us Spec( isnt that bad). The Tires Changed To Us Dot Approved Tires( which is easy). The Saftey Systems Changed To Us Dot Approved. This Includes Seats, Seatbelts, Airbags, Dash, Etc.The Next Step Is Emissions Legalities And Changes.... This Can Vary Greatly Depending On The Car.The Most Expensive Part: You Would Have To Build A Completely New Computer With Obd-ii Features, Add All The Extra Obd-ii Sensors, Rewire The Entire Car, And Redo All The Emissions Equipment

in 3 years me and my friends want to try to get 50 people and try to do this but if u want in emal me at ([email protected]) but you have to be in the souteastern part of the usa or if you are farther out you could down and help or send money but this is only a thoutght and we are trying to do this but we arent 100% sure it will work but are willing to try
ill try to give it a shot but if u want to give it a shot get some friends that are interested and in 3 years we will try to start it

but relize that it is only a concept and it is not all on paper it is a thought but we are realy thing about it

...my jr. high english teacher is rolling in his grave...

...and he's not even dead yet...

BTW, that wouldn't work. End of story. You can't crash test yourself, and you can't use already salvaged cars to do the testing. BTW, it won't work.

I just LOVE how naive you are!

I'm not going to insult you or anything because it's good to have dreams, and some dreams come true, but listen good, I was 14 and I thought I as going to work alot for 2 years and then buy myself a 240SX when I got my license, (something that sounds easy), but trust me, things don't turn out the way they you plan. (I faced reality after I finished high school, work sucks.) Here I am, 3 year later, I make minimum wage, I have 350$ in the bank and I sit at home when I don'T work because all my friends are at school. Not what I had in mind, and I had little expectations.

You want to do with S15s what MotoRex did with Skylines, those guys didn't start out with a few friends, they had contacts in Japan, probably had some kind of business degree, they new everything about every law in both countries, I don't want to sound negative, but this is one dream that won't come true, sorry man. Feel free to prove me wrong though.

Re: trying to get silvia s15 legalized in usa

logik is right.. things never go the way you want them to.. if you plan on buying something for $10,000 plus, start working full time for atleast $8/hour for the next three or four years and you might have enough for a decent 240, let alone a silvia or skyline directly from japan
