Whoops!!
Sorry guys. This should read " I'm new this board and am looking for some advice. I currently have a 1998 323is and will be taking a look at a 1997 M3 sedan(Black/tan leather/96,000km/$35,900 canadian) this weekend. It no longer qualifies as a "certified series" and has no warranty remaining. Anything I should look out for or check other than the ovious. When I take it for a test drive I was thinking of getting it checked out by a mechanic at another dealership(Non BMW). Any further suggestions or imput you could add would be great. Thanks in advance"

If you are going to get it checked up on, it might be a good idea to have a BMW dealership check it out as well as a non BMW dealer. that way you get opinions from each side of the scale
