light problems

ok on my golf gti i have 2 front round lights beside my blinkers... how do they turn on i tried everything...

im guessing mark III? are there 2 per side or one on each side? (fog lights) are you wired for fogs? is your car used?

yes the fog lights they are just beside the signal lights!
