Couple of problems

1. Was checking the air cleaner the other day, and found oil all around on the bottom of the breather, comming from the tube from the valve cover. the filter for the tube in the breather has oil all over it. it has the right amount of oil in it, just changed the oil again a couple weeks back. i have a 305 in the car.
2. I just had the heater core & the vacume switch replaced, so my defroster & floor vents would work. The heater still does not get hot, it blows only cold air. I just replaced the thermostat from a 180 to a 205 to see if that would fix it and it didnt.
hopefully someone here can help me, so i know what to get done to get my car back to normal.

Re: Couple of problems

the oil in your air cleaner is from the PCV system.. You probably need a new PCV valve.. If you pull the hose out of the valve cover, thats your PCV valve.. they're cheap to replace.. might want to change the filter there too..
