91 shadow headlights

I have a 1991 Shadow that does not turn off the daytime running lights.
Just wondering if there is something easy that I am missing, sadly - I am new to working on cars and do not know which direction to take. Thats why I'm asking this forum for help....

if they are "day time running lights" they dont utrn off they are what they are called lights that ar on when the car is running day or night. i kno hte candian version of the shadow had this
