If you want bigger rims its gonna cost you money, you cant expect something for nothing. 17" seem to be the best value/size rims available being probably one of the most popular sizes. you could always try getting a second hand set of Ebay if you dont have much spare cash.

yea, just if you go ebay expect to find a lot of singles or pairs, not a full set.

Re: 1987 st what is the biggest size rims

Look it up on the internet, For "brand new" It depends on what size, manufacturer you choose, tyre size, tyre manufacturer. 17" alloys with tyres in the UK range from £750 up to £4000 ($1200 - $7000) decide what "you" can afford and then look for a set up to match that.
For the Ebay option around £400 ($700) for a set of 4 alloys with tyres. But like I said before, you can plan on spending what you can afford to spend. set a budget and stick to it.

Re: 1987 st what is the biggest size rims

if i can dl a fuckin pick of my celica i bought my rims and tires for a total of about $900...rims were $350 and tires were $550...woulda been more but i got aa package deal... trust me if you can find rims and tires for sale together on ebay for around $500 DO IT... because after buying rims dont expect to pay any less than $100 for low profiles.

and fyi i wouldnt go that big on an st... the bigger the wheels/rims the more power your gunna loose.. as welll as the more fucked up your spredometer is gunna b... mine says im going 120 when im really goin like 110.. thinks your going faster because theres a gear in the tranny and when it does 1/12 of a revolution (i.e. 1/12 on ur tire) thatas 1 mph... when it takes the same amount of revolution in the tranney but takes less on your tire... you relly goin slower than ur speedo says... as well as your really going slower neway because of the more power loss to the wheels...try and stick with a little bigger than stock.... go for 115's with 205-55-15's or 16's with 205-50-16 (what i have)

Konig has these pretty tight rims that are old school style 14X7.5 and wiegh about 14lbs. They look like watanabi rims. I eventually want to get a set of them
