Question nother engine swap

I have a 1996 cavalier. 2.2L and like everyone else with a 2.2, I am also unhappy with the performance. Call anyone tell me if the 2002+ ecotec engine will bolt drirectly up to the 1996 frame? And whe MIGHT I need to make to WORK?

Re: nother engine swap

A few people have done it, but I've heard you need to rewire the whole car.

oh shit no.... that why all cavy's are called j-bodys.... everything it built on the same frame... its when you take engines from like a grand prix and stick it in there then you will have to mod it...
