Re: question on hoods

pretty much all body panels from the third gens are interchangeable, but i would suggest staying as close to the year of your car as possible, for instance the front bumper covers did change from 82-92, three times i think, so youd have to find the right ones to get the same piece.

Re: question on hoods

If your lucky you could find an 82 or 83 z28 hood. Some of them were fiberglass from the factory but they wouldnt have a 2inch cowl.

Just go out and buy yourself a 2" cowl scoop from ebay or something and put it on yourself, you will save a ton of money that way. I got one from ebay for $40.00 shipped.

Re: question on hoods

i dont like the way the hood scoops that you put on yourself look on cars. the ones that i have seen never looked good and you could tell that they were do-it-yourselfers. i personally would recommend getting a hood in whole...

yes tardsters hood didnt come out bad at all but i will make the suggestion of that if you do just buy a fiberglass scoop try to get a fiberglass hood factory or otherwise that way they should blend together better and should have a longer life.
