anyone ridden a 2001 honda cbr 600f1 or a 2001 yamaha fzr r4?

hey everyone, i just got my m1 class license last week and now im looking for a bike. oh speaking of license, maybe it was just me, but it was sorta easy. i paid my $198 for the msf course and passed that, then a week later was curious on what was the next procedure to get a permit or whatever the next step was. i went to the dmv, filled out a form which was i was told to do, then paid my $24 for what i thought was the form fee, passed the eye test, took my pic and then passed the written test. i mentioned that i took the msf course after the written exam, then they were like "great, u got ur license when u bring the form in." i was surpised, and amazed how easy it was, well for me that is...

anyways, back to my topic, currently i saw this black 2001 cbr 600f1 on sale for 2150 so it caught my eye. the problem is, i never really heard too much of this model, besides its newer, tougher, and sexier sister, the double r. if any of u guys have one of these or had ridden one, please tell me about ur experience. oh the reason im not purchasing a double r is because it's too much right now; college student, and that i need a starter bike to learn (damn, the 600rr does the 1/4 in about 10.6-7 secs or around there, thats is freaken fast!!!!!!!!and it can handle too ).
heres some pics:

ok, for the r4 its only for $1800 which it better in price, however, its only 400cc i know im a beginner and all, but im a pretty decent quick learner, my eye to hand coordination is above average, and some thing tells me, im going to be craving for power soon after a month or so of driving. on a good note, the r4 does look in mint condition so thats a plus . any info and comments it much appreaciated, thanks again. anyways, with no further ado, here are the pics:
hhmmm, better yet, i going to turn this into a poll instead.

ok i haven't ridden the r4 and only test ridden the honda, but it depends on what style of riding you wish to go for. if its commuting with some fun on the twisties then go the honda but if you feel the need to go to the track and have more of a balls out time, then go the yam.
the honda will probably be quicker but won't "feel" quick. the honda is more of a sports tourer over the yams mini sports ( i call them minisports due to the size of the bike, not the power). down under we have to start on 250's so its hard for us to say "go start on a 600 and you'll be fine". all i know is once you get the taste, you want to upgrade and the honda should keep you interested for awhile longer than the yamaha.

personally, i didn't like the honda as it was deceiving with the power. it was quick but didn't feel it. i wanted to feel the speed. hondas are also renown to be easy to go quickly and be forgiving if you make a minor mistake.
