*Review* Skunk2 Intake Manifold
Hey Guys. After spending 5 hours hovering over my B16 yesterday, I finally got the Manifold put in! I had to rig a few things, as I think it was made for an OBD-1 B16. Anyway, here's my verdict:
MAJOR top-end power... really makes the car come alive after VTEC engaugement. No complaints with low-end, as it didn't really change much. My idol did move up to around 1400, but slowly drops down after sitting at a stop light. Well, hopefully I'll have some pictures and a dyno to back it up soon... but man, DEFINITELY worth the $270.

Are these results on an otherwise stock engine? Let us know what you are working with. Thanks for the review, I wish I would see more of these.

No, this was on a B16a2 with AEM CAI, DC 4-1 Stainless, Tenzo-R Axle-Back... I'm expecting a dyno somewhere around 152-157... not really sure though.
And I figured out what the idol problem was.. there was an unattached hose in the back... on B16a3's, that's where the EVAP sensor plugs into, but on a2's, it's not used... so I just had to buy a little plug. It's running 100% perfect now. Nope, no 5th Gen Skunk2 Manifolds. They are only for B-series heads. But I'd strongly recommend this mod for any B-series owner. The flywheel dyno I saw was 11hp on a stock GSR engine, which would make about 9hp@wheels... not too shabby. I'll get dyno's soon.. hopefully.. depends on my cam situation.. i might wait for the skunk2 stage2's first. We'll see. Either way, I'll have dyno's =)

Laugh if you will..I have a 93 Civic Ex that does me pretty well. I've got a cold air inatke and i have an exhaust. I was looking into getting an intake manifold. I've seen ones from Venom, Edelbrock, V-Racing, STR, and I've seen ones from skunk2 but it's not out for my motor. Edelbrock's on a D16Y8 only gave 5.7 more horses...so should i go with an all out drag type manifold? And if so..from which company? Rumor has it Venom is pretty good, but costs lots of $$
