ODB II Code P0341
The van runs fine but I got a code P0341. I reset it but it came back after about 100 miles. The description says "camshaft position sensor A curcuit range / performance bank 1 or single sensor.Any ideas what it is and where it is? Thanks |

Re: ODB II Code P0341
the cam sensor is in the top of the block on the passenger side, and attaches with one bolt. It senses cam timing and adjusts fuel/timing accordingly. Normally the vehicle will continue to run but it may suffer a slight mileage decline. It may be telling you that the timing chain has stretched and the cam is out of phase with the crank, if a new sensor doesn't fix the problem.

Re: ODB II Code P0341
Can this cause fuel pump to whine? Mine sounded fine when I took it to dealer and when I got it back they said it had a bad camshaft position sensor.
