When the tranny sperates from the block...

Hmm.. it would look as though im haveing some troubles wit my escort. The tranny would seem to be seperating from the block (as the gap is now widerim a bit concered) the oil leak as also seemed to increase slightly. I have pictures now alls i need is a plce to put them. Id realy appreaciate someones opionon.. im not realy lokoing forward to having the tranny fall off...

Are all the bolts holding the tranny to the block there? Are they tight? Is your transmission housing cracked/broken? What year is your escort? auto or manual?

93 auto, 258+ k kms.. bolts are tight properly torqued it looks as though the housings fine. could the threads have deteriorated, and coudl this be caused by a sloppy crank?

alriight just got off the phone with a few people.. heres wht im goin to do.. take a jack, block of wood, work the tranny back to the block, torque the nuts, see if the oil leaks, check the converter by shifting gears adn just hope i dont crack the case.
