Question Two OBD Codes (P0411 & P0422)

Hi Guys,

Im new in this Jetta Forum. Yestarday i bought a Black 97 Jetta GLX VR6, but it has 2 PCM Codes... there are :

*P0411 - Secondary Air Injection Incorrect Upstream Flow Detected
*P0422 - Main TWC Efficiency Bank 1 Below Threshold

What I need to check to resolve this codes? Someone with this same problem. Please help, I hate the CHECK ENGINE light on... jeje.

411 can be caused by a bad SAI valve, combination valve or vacuum hoses to the valves or the pressure hose. Fix 411 & hope 422 won't come back on after clearing, otherwise it may be time for a new cat. If you have an infrared temp gun you can check it with that.

Thanks a lot... other question... what mods can I do to gain some HP??... Actually has Neuspeed Cold Air Intake...
