331 vs. 99+GT stang

So i was on lunch break yesterday going to get some food right. I'm behind this 99+ Mustang GT. Just bought or taking for a test drive dunno cause it still had the Dealer plate on it. Some dude and his girl were in it i guess he was showing off cause we were under a bridge and everyone knows that shit echos under there so he was revvin' it up. I thought it was funny because after his revs came back down you could still here my car behind him echoing as it idled (lope, lope, lope). So anyway we both go left i get up next to him, well kinda. I was almost at his door when he floored it, so i take off and pass him at the beginning of 3rd gear. He got off the gas as soon as i started passing him. Well soon after he comes up next to me (his windows were up) points to my car and him and his girl start laughing 'bout something.

what a loser. People like that give stangers a bad name. *sigh*

That E-DE-OT has no idea what a real Mustang is. Hope he doesn't buy one. We have enough Mustang assholes here, in AZ.

Good one, morons like that normally let off as soon as they know they're gonna get beat to try to reassure their girlfriends that "they won". Let him have his laughs, because under the surface, you knew your car was faster, he knew your car was faster, and even she knew your car was faster. I wish my dad would stroke our Mustang. I'm gonna put a pic of the two up in my sig.

what is up with stang guys? i've met some cool ones but a 260hp mustang GT isn't hot shit...a nice car but it won't give you whip lash...good kill....unless it was a brand new one...then they have 300hp...then you got a pretty fast car...i think they get 0-60 in like 5.1...

Love to know why we get a bad wrap? I just bought a Stang...does that make me an ass? Yes it is a 260hp gt, and no I never claimed I own anything near the fastest car in the world... I would never laugh at a car that would knock my doors off, and I wouldnt go rev crazy under a bridge...so not ALL stang owners are like that. As for 0-60 in 5.1, it's not great, but who ever said that was bad?

Highrev, it's just those who give us (you, me and whoever else) a bad rap ya know? But the import guys are in the same boat, ricers and the like kinda ruin it too. For them i mean. Then there's ppl like this who think cause it's a domestic it's the shit. hehehe it's all good though we have more ppl to put them in their place.

hmmm, debt free with an 11 sec car or so-so in the hole with a 13 sec car.

i wish they would have screenings for people who want to buy american legends with reputations (mustangs, corvettes, GN's...etc.)....it's a stupid idea but at least other people wouldn't have to pay for a few people's ignorance and arrogance (if i spelled that right)

hehe thanks man, unfortunately i cannot figure out how to post pics of it on here. err well i mean if i could figure out how to get pics from the digi cam to the computer then i could do it. Basicly if you've seen the ones that carnut posted. it looks exactly the same except under the hood.
