corvette convertivle rear glass fell out

My 2000 corvette convertible glass fell out. Dealer tells me there is no fix but to replace top. GM will pay 50% but will still cost me $1500! How about 5200? Any help? Wahoo669

i agree, but, one has to wonder about the true quality of GM's corvettes. they do cost alot of money, and you would think that GM would spend a little more time in the quality area. sorry to say, but i have read of many problems with newer corvettes. i expect problems with my 1981 corvette, but with a new one.......???

if they are having that many problems now, imagine when the C5 is 20 years old.
