Hello, I have a '99 Pontiac Grand Am SE and I was wondering I it's possible to remove the standard CD player and put in my own? I know that it's probably possible but just by looking at the dash I don't see how that NEW cd player would fit!? Also, something I'm even more interested in - is it possible to remove all the buttons for the cdplayer/radio. I don't really like the standart buttons and I was wondering if there are any buttons that I can buy that would replace the standard ones. Thanks in advance!

Re: Redesign the dashboard
As for the buttons, I'm not aware of any company that make aftermarket ones. As for putting in an aftermarket cd player it's a piece of cake, but you have to purchase an install kit, pretty cheap, it's just a piece of plastic that's the size of the factory radio which has acut out in it that houses the thinner aftermarket one your putting in.
